How to use the solver
- Type your first guess and press Add.
- Tap each tile until it shows the same color as in your game: gray, yellow or green.
- Repeat for every guess you've made. The list of possible words updates instantly.
- Tap any suggested word to add it as your next guess.
The rules in 30 seconds
- Guess a hidden word in six tries (most versions use five letters).
- Green: right letter in the right spot. Yellow: the letter is in the word, but elsewhere. Gray: the letter isn't in the word.
- A letter can appear more than once — a gray tile for a repeated letter means the word has no additional copy of it.
Solving tips that actually help
- Open with common letters: words like CRANE, SLATE or TRACE test three frequent consonants and two vowels.
- Use your second guess to cover new letters instead of re-testing ones you already know.
- Mind double letters: if the list keeps shrinking slowly, the answer may repeat a letter.
- Don't waste a guess on a word you know can't be right — unless it rules out several candidates at once.
Questions & answers
Is this the official Wordle word list?
No. We use large, open word-frequency lists, so the helper knows more words than the official answer pool. Common words are ranked first, which is usually what the daily answer is.
Does it handle repeated letters correctly?
Yes. The helper reproduces the game's exact coloring rules, including how yellows and grays work when a letter appears twice.
Can I use it for other languages or lengths?
Yes — pick German, Dutch, Spanish or French and any length from 4 to 9 letters. That covers most Wordle-style games, including longer-word variants.
