How to use the solver
- Take a screenshot of the unsolved Queens board on your phone or computer.
- Upload it with “Import screenshot”, drop it on the grid, or paste it with Ctrl/⌘+V.
- Compare the colors with your game. If a cell looks wrong, pick the right color and tap the cell.
- Press “Give me a hint” to reveal a single queen, or “Show full solution” to see them all.
The rules in 30 seconds
- Place exactly one queen (a crown) in every row.
- Place exactly one queen in every column.
- Place exactly one queen in every colored region.
- Queens may not touch each other — not even diagonally.
Solving tips that actually help
- Start with the smallest regions. A region of one or two cells pins its queen almost immediately.
- Find regions that sit entirely inside one row or column. That line belongs to them, so cross it off for every other region.
- Use the pigeonhole trick: if three regions fit entirely inside the same three rows, no other region can place its queen in those rows.
- Every queen blocks its eight neighbors. Placing one often leaves a nearby small region with a single legal cell.
- Mark impossible cells with an X as you go — LinkedIn lets you tap once for X and twice for a queen. The puzzle becomes a game of elimination.

Is every LinkedIn Queens puzzle solvable by logic alone?
Yes. Each daily Queens board is designed to have exactly one solution that you can reach without guessing. That's also why this solver warns you when it finds more than one: it almost always means a cell was entered with the wrong color.
Does my screenshot get uploaded anywhere?
No. The board is recognized with code that runs in your browser. The image never leaves your device, and nothing is stored.
Which board sizes are supported?
Every size LinkedIn uses, from 5×5 up to 11×11. The screenshot reader detects the size automatically; you can also pick it by hand.
When does a new Queens puzzle come out?
LinkedIn publishes a new Queens board every day at midnight Pacific Time — that's 9:00 in most of Europe. Our daily page with hints and the answer goes up shortly after.
Is using a solver cheating?
It's your game, so you decide! If you'd like to keep your streak honest, use “Give me a hint” to reveal just one queen and finish the rest yourself.
