Hints get stronger as you go. The answer is always the last step — nothing is revealed until you tap.

Each step takes you from one number to the next, with rows counted from the top and columns from the left. “3 down, 2 left” means three cells down, then two cells to the left.

    1. From 1 (row 2, column 5): 1 left, 1 down, 2 left, 1 down to reach 2 in row 4, column 2.
    2. From 2 (row 4, column 2): 1 left to reach 3 in row 4, column 1.
    3. From 3 (row 4, column 1): 3 up, 1 right, 1 down, 1 right, 1 up, 3 right, 1 down to reach 4 in row 2, column 6.
    4. No choice at row 1, column 1: as a corner, it has only two neighbors (row 2, column 1 and row 1, column 2), so the path must enter through one and leave through the other.
    5. From 4 (row 2, column 6): 4 down, 1 left, 1 up, 1 left, 1 down, 3 left, 1 up, 1 right to reach 5 in row 5, column 2.
    6. No choice at row 5, column 4: its walls leave it only two open neighbors (row 5, column 5 and row 6, column 4), so the path must enter through one and leave through the other.
    7. From 5 (row 5, column 2): 1 right, 1 up, 2 right, 1 up to reach 6 in row 3, column 5, where the path ends.

    Path from 1 to the end: (2,5) → (2,4) → (3,4) → (3,3) → (3,2) → (4,2) → (4,1) → (3,1) → (2,1) → (1,1) → (1,2) → (2,2) → (2,3) → (1,3) → (1,4) → (1,5) → (1,6) → (2,6) → (3,6) → (4,6) → (5,6) → (6,6) → (6,5) → (5,5) → (5,4) → (6,4) → (6,3) → (6,2) → (6,1) → (5,1) → (5,2) → (5,3) → (4,3) → (4,4) → (4,5) → (3,5)

How to play Zip

  • Start on the cell marked 1.
  • Visit the numbered cells in order — 1, 2, 3 … up to the last number, where the path ends.
  • Move up, down, left or right; never diagonally, and never through a wall.
  • Fill every cell of the grid exactly once.
