When do the daily puzzles reset?
Two different rules, and mixing them up is why a puzzle sometimes looks stuck. LinkedIn publishes one puzzle for the whole world at a single moment. The New York Times games turn over at midnight where you are.

LinkedIn: one reset for everybody
All eight LinkedIn games — Queens, Tango, Zip, Mini Sudoku, Patches, Pinpoint, Crossclimb and Wend — change at midnight in California, which is the same instant everywhere. The wall-clock time that lands on depends on where you are, and it moves when either your region or California changes its clocks, so these times are computed fresh rather than stored.

The New York Times: your own midnight
Wordle, Connections, Strands and Pips have no single worldwide reset. Each one turns over at midnight in your own time zone, so a player in Auckland starts a given day's puzzle almost a full day before a player in Los Angeles. That is also why we publish an answer only once it is live somewhere.
