How to play Wordle
Wordle gives you six tries to find a hidden five-letter word. After each guess, tiles turn green for the right letter in the right spot, yellow for a letter that's in the word but elsewhere, and gray for letters that aren't in it at all.
A strong opener covers common letters — words like CRANE, SLATE or TRACE test three consonants and two vowels at once. From there, use every clue: never reuse a gray letter, and move yellows to new positions.
